About Saud Beach & Pagudpud
Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines is some 580 kms north of Manila. Saud beach is rated by the Dept of Tourism Philippines & the Lonely Planet as one of the best beaches in the Philippines. The area is still under developed, so there are no golf courses, up market restaurants or nightclubs. The scenery in the area is super, bay after bay with mountains inthe background. There is a great coastal drive from Pagudpud to Laoag (theregional capital of Ilocos Norte) and a super drive over mountains and through a green valley to Cagayan. A trip to the local market is recommended, this is a great experience, and is only a few minutes away by tricycle. Saud beach is west facing, so is great for sun sets, it is 19 degrees north of the equator with a warm tropical climate.

There are daily flights from Manila to Laoag which is just under 70kms from Pagudpud, and daily buses from Manila to Pagudpud; by bus you see the country, but it takes 9 to 11 hours. We can arrange to pick you up and drop you off at Laoag airport (transport costs as per the going rate provided by third parties).
Type in Pagudpud, or Saud Beach on Google and there is plenty of information available, also on Youtube there are many videos of Saud beach. The department of tourism Philippines has information (http://www.wowphilippines.com.ph) on Saud beach; on its home web page clink on the icon beaches and Pagudpud is the second beach mentioned, right after Boracay.
